A football supporter who ran onto the pitch during a Scottish Cup match has been fined £400.
Kevin Stark, 21, jumped over a barrier at East End Park where home side Dunfermline Athletic took on Aberdeen on September 26, the Crown Office said.
The incident happened shortly after the Dons scored the game’s only goal.
Stark, from Limekilns in Fife, was quickly apprehended and escorted away.
Faith Millar, football liaison prosecutor for the east of Scotland, said: “Running on to the pitch was reckless and irresponsible and caused alarm to others, as well as spoiling the enjoyment of football fans.
“Disorderly conduct at football matches will not be tolerated. Any conduct of this nature will be robustly investigated and the perpetrators dealt with accordingly.
“Prosecutors will continue to work with the police to take whatever measures are necessary to protect genuine fans from criminal behaviour while attending football matches.”
The Crown said Stark pled guilty to breach of the peace.
