A business centre in Dunfermline appears to be bucking the economic trend by encouraging new ventures.
Three small companies have just taken up residence in newly refurbished offices at Dunfermline Business Centre in Izatt Avenue.
One of the new tenants, June Wood, runs Holistic Health Care, a private practice established in 1994 that offers natural therapies.
She said, “It feels right bringing healing back to the place as it was originally a hospital. Having a receptionist to greet and seat clients is a great bonus. The foyer is bright and welcoming and a meeting room on site is another bonus.
“I have already used this facility for my reiki group, which is a regular event.”
Liz Reid, from Soul-2-Sole, has just moved into one of the new suites. Her company offers a wide range of complementary therapies, including reiki and instructions on how to walk on hot coals.
She added, “The facilities are superb and excellent value for money. There are welcoming and friendly receptionists on site during core hours, 24-hour access, disabled access, free parking with many disabled bays and it is on a bus route.
“Disabled access is a welcome aspect for me as it will enable me to treat my wheelchair-bound clients in the centre.”
