Edinburgh flight price comparison website SkyScanner and Livingston-based aerial survey specialist Cyberhawk have been named among the best private equity backed businesses in Scotland.
SkyScanner won the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association’s community and environmental award, while Cyberhawk picked up the innovation prize.
Both firms are backed by Scottish Equity Partners.
North-east-based ICR Integrity and Deep Casing Tools, respectively backed by Grisham Private Equity and Maven Capital, took the private equity and venture capital management team prizes.
Along with John Innes of Amor Group, who was named CEO of the year, the companies go through to contest the national finals in London next month.
