Starbucks coffee break for Dundee games firm Cobra Mobile

A Dundee mobile games development company is roasting its rivals after its games were picked up by a national coffee chain.
Starbucks customers are being given the chance to download City Quay-based Cobra Mobile’s top-selling iBomber Pacific title this week as part of the coffee giant’s regular in-store mobile app promotion.
With their purchase, coffee drinkers are being given a card entitling them to a free download of the popular title.
A second promotion involving Cobra’s Storm In a Teacup game is due to take place later this month.
Studio CEO Mark Ettle said the Starbucks link up was a huge boost for the company.
“The huge footfall that Starbucks has is the perfect audience we want to engage with,” he said.
