Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce posted a small but increased profit last year.
The City Quay-based body which has hundreds of local companies among its membership saw revenues rise by £11,621 to £219,614 during the year to December 31 2012, while profits lifted from £3,683 to £9,901.
The latest set of accounts cover the final year in which CEO Alan Mitchell was in charge of the organisation.
Mr Mitchell stepped down after five years at the helm in February and has been succeeded by Sandra Burke, whose appointment is set to be officially ratified by members at DACC’s AGM next week.
Three directors former president Chris Lundie, Katherine Gilmour and Dave Tudor left the organisation at the time of 2012 AGM, with one new addition in Andrew Ross.
The accounts show that membership income increased from £144,952 to £147,409 in the period but magazine income dropped from £11,348 to £7,840.
Advertising income also fell from £15,387 in 2011 to £9,108, but there was a significant increase in revenues derived from export services up from £9,896 to £34,610 in the year and in sponsorship, which rose to £13,130 from £1,856.
Outgoings included a combined £118,342 for staff and director salaries.
