Bank of Scotland yesterday moved to strengthen its commercial banking team with the appointment of Jane Clark-Hutchison as Mid Markets area director for Edinburgh and the East of Scotland.
Current incumbent Mark Prentice is to take on responsibility for a number of the larger clients in the area while Jane will focus on key sectors such as food and drink and manufacturing.
She said: “As the Scottish economy shows signs of growth, and confidence amongst the country’s firms continues to climb, it’s vital that we as a bank are on hand to provide the right financial support needed to allow these businesses to capitalise on the opportunities that this renewed optimism brings.”
