A new man is set to take the helm at Scottish drinks giant Tennent Caledonian Breweries.
Dublin-based owner C&C Group confirmed that Brian Calder would take over as chief executive of the Tennent’s lager producer following a handover period with current incumbent John Gilligan.
Mr Calder is currently managing director of Wallaces TCB, a company formed earlier this month after C&C completed the full acquisition of Scottish drinks wholesaler Wallaces Express.
Tennent’s is Scotland’s leading lager brand, with sales four times larger than its nearest competitor.
