A Dundee games developer has been nominated for a Bafta videogames award.
4J Studios, which was set up in 2005 by Chris van der Kuyl, Paddy Burns and Frank Arnot, has been nominated in the best family game category for its X-Box 360 version of Minecraft.
The development team behind Lego Lord of the Rings, which includes Dundee audio providers Euphonious, has also been nominated in the best family game category as well as the best British game field.
The three development teams who triumphed in Abertay University’s Dare to be Digital competition last year Kind of a Big Deal, Loan Wolf Games and Raptor Games will compete in the ones to watch category.
