Innovation is at the heart of every successful business.
With that in mind, The Courier Business Awards is pushing the boundaries for 2015 with the introduction of several new categories.
Our first new award is designed to identify the finest young talent coming through the ranks of a business, local authority or third-sector organisation in Dundee, Perthshire, Angus, Fife and the Mearns.
The winner of Apprentice of the Year, sponsored by Dundee & Angus College, will be that special someone who has shone in their apprentice role and exceeded the expectations of their employer.
The winner will show a passion for their job, a willingness to continue to learn and be an outstanding ambassador.
The Courier Business Awards has also introduced a new Deal of the Year category for 2015, sponsored by Blackadders Solicitors.
In the judges’ sights will be firms that have made extraordinary advances by completing a major restructuring or by growing through merger or acquisition.
The winner could also be the company large or small that has transformed its long-term prospects by securing that amazing new order.
Information on all of the categories at this year’s awards which is again supported by Henderson Loggie and will take place at the Fairmont St Andrews Resort on November 27 is available at www.thecourierbusinessawards.com.
