100 new jobs for Dundee as Penicuik eyes window of opportunity
ByGraham Huband
Dundee is set for a major jobs boost as window and doors specialist Penicuik moves to create around 100 new contact centre roles.
Parent group Entu is planning to significantly increase its presence in the north east with a move into new premises at Dundee Technology Park.
The new flagship office at Lindsay Court will double Manchester-based Entu’s local workforce, which is split across four offices.
Around 90 call centre agent positions are being created along with a number of sales confirmation roles and senior management positions.
The Courier understands that lease negotiations over the new office are ongoing, but it is hoped the new facility will be up and running by late August.
A spokesman for Penicuik: “Dundee is a great place to do business and we are proud to be a significant employer here, which is why we are now looking to expand our presence at Dundee Technology Park.”
