Jannettas Gelateria in St Andrews has reopened after a refurbishment on the owner’s 21st anniversary in business.
Owen Hazel and wife Nicola unveiled the premises in South Street, which had been closed since the turn of the year for the transformation.
The facelift, designed by Broughty Ferry architects Nicoll Russell Studios, aimed to create a more fluid customer experience, removing the wall between the former gelateria and caf.
With its new Italian caf style interior, there is increased production space to meet the demand for the award-winning gelato.
There is also a space where customers can see ice-cream being made, particularly during events and demonstrations.
Jannettas Gelateria scooped Scotland’s Golden Cone award and was the retail business of the year at The Courier Business Awards last year.
