A Dundee company has been named as the UK’s best chartered financial planning firm at a major industry awards.
Bell Street-based Verus Financial Planning scooped the title at the Personal Finance Society ceremony held at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.
Comedian Hugh Dennis presented Verus directors Paul Lothian and Jonathan Gibson, who jointly founded the firm in 2005, with their award.
“With the Personal Finance Society membership standing at over 34,000 and Chartered Financial Planning firms exceeding 500, the winners have excelled in an incredibly competitive environment,” PFS chief executive Keith Richards said.
“It is with great pleasure that I congratulate Verus Financial Planning for their outstanding achievements.”
Mr Gibson said: “This award recognises the dedication of our staff and our high levels of customer satisfaction.”
He continued: “We intend to expand the geographic reach of this award winning service.”
