Perth’s Inveralmond Brewery expects to boost sales in the growing craft keg market after appointing experienced Phil Kilpatrick as its new business development manager.
The firm said his considerable industry pedigree which includes work with brands including Magners, Kopparberg and Budweiser was a key attraction.
“Phil’s impressive trade intelligence and willingness to challenge the industry status quo was at the core of the approach he demonstrated to us,” commercial director Bob Hogg said.
“With Sunburst, Ossian and Lia Fail we believe we have the portfolio to turn that approach into strong growth for the Inveralmond Brewery.”
The firm, based in Inveralmond Industrial Estate, has also added Andy Agnew to its board, and hopes his operational and commercial knowledge can help it capitalise on a “multitude of opportunities”.
The brewery is an official partner of next year’s Homecoming Scotland celebrations.
