Dover completes $465 million Tokheim dispenser systems takeover

Hundreds of Dundee workers have transferred to American industrial conglomerate Dover after it completed a $465 million swoop for Tokheim’s dispenser and systems business.
The Courier first revealed the takeover in the autumn and the deal has now been finalised.
Tokheim Group’s manufacturing plant at West Pitkerro Industrial Estate is one of the assets which has been sold to the New York Stock Exchange-listed firm.
In September, Tokheim stressed there would be no redundnancies as a result of the deal and the Dundee facility would continue to operate as normal.
Tokheim Group SAS becomes part of Dover subsidiary OPW, a global player in the fluid handling, management, monitoring and controls market.
OPW president David Crouse said: “By integrating Tokheim’s advanced line of dispensers and automation systems, the combined business will be able to offer our customers an unparalleled end-to-end fueling solution.”
