Outstanding businesswomen across Dundee and Angus recognised at Women Ahead awards

The significant contribution of women to the Tayside economy has been recognised at the Women Ahead Business Awards 2015.
“The Awards Dinner is a prestigious event in the local business and social calendar when we acknowledge and celebrate the determination, success and achievements of women from the business community in Dundee and Angus,” chairwoman Deborah Miller said.
Theresa Wishart of Arbroath-based Journeycall scooped the enterprising business award, the young women of the year trophy went to Steffie Arnold of Arnolds Catering while Louise Johnsone of PT4U and Brass Monkey Events took the independent prize.
Shelley Booth of Train Eat Sleep Repeat scooped most promising new business while Carina Mitchell of Advocating Together won the community award.
Kim Wilkinson of Apex Hotels took outstanding contribution award while Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce chief executive Alison Henderson was member of the year.
