A series of multi-million-pound engineering and construction projects in Fife have been showcased.
Potential investors were given an overview of major projects including the Queensferry Crossing over the Forth, the aircraft carrier build at Babcock’s Rosyth dockyard and oil and gas focused work being carried out in Fife by engineering services company Oceaneering.
The 50 guests at the Invest in Fife (IiF) event were also given access to a new prospectus outlining the wide range of properties and development opportunities in Fife’s main business investment zones.
IiF’s Ross MacKenzie said: “Our new prospectus is an important tool for raising awareness of Fife’s business opportunities.
“The fact that global players like Amazon, Diageo, Oceaneering and Samsung Heavy Industries have chosen to invest in Fife is testament to the region’s excellent resources and location, and we need to promote this on a wider scale.”
“The launch of the prospectus comes at an opportune time,” David Fraser of property specialists Ryden said.
“Fife is currently home to some of Europe’s biggest engineering and construction projects, and it is a great document that can be used by businesses, developers and landowners to showcase the scale of the opportunity.”
