Edinburgh Airport has announced its third new air route in the space of a week.
Scandinavian Airlines is to introduce two new twice-weekly services to Oslo and Stavanger in Norway from April.
Gordon Dewar, chief executive at Edinburgh Airport, said: “Norway is an important trade and business link for Scotland and we’re delighted to be working with SAS in developing this further.”
The Norwegian routes follow hot on the heels of US Airways confirming a new direct Philadelphia flight and Qatar Airways adding a new Doha route to its schedules.
The latter addition will see Boeing’s Dreamliner aircraft used on a scheduled service from Edinburgh for the first time.
