Oil services provider Aker Solutions has been awarded a contract worth more than £550 million for subsea work off Congo.
It will work with Total on delivering a subsea production system for Moho Nord, a development consisting of two distinct arrays in waters about 75km off the coast of the African republic.
The contract will see Aker produce and deliver 28 vertical subsea trees including wellhead systems, two installation and workover control systems, seven manifold structures, subsea control and tie-in systems.
The contract also contains options related to Moho Nord which Total may exercise.
