The number of new businesses in Scotland fell in the last quarter of 2014.
The Committee of Scottish Bankers said 2,539 business start-ups opened accounts with its six banks during the period, a 6.9% fall on the previous quarter.
The full-year figure of 11,772 was 0.8% higher than the 2013 figure.
The biggest proportion of new start-ups for the last quarter and for the whole of 2014 were in real estate, renting and related businesses 667 and 3,186.
The figures for Angus were 65 (Q4) and 271 (full year); Dundee 57 and 291; Fife 147 and 681; Perth and Kinross 65 and 281, and Stirling 69 and 262.
The CSCB consists of Bank of Scotland, Clydesdale, HSBC, TSB, RBS and Tesco Bank.
