THE Dundee studio Beartrap Games has launched its first major title on the App Store.

The firm, which was established in 2012, has released a small number of free games over the past two years, but Sky Patrol is its first premium title.

The strategic shooting game was first launched on the Windows phone store in October, and the studio has since been working on the App store version a move that opens up a potentially huge new audience.

“This is our studio’s first major release and we’ve really appreciated all the amazing feedback, support and recognition received, including the award nominations at the Tokyo Game Show and Tiga Awards in 2014,” commercial director Grant Alexander said.
