Aviva operations manager Susan Sidey has been appointed as the new chair of contact centre forum Talking Tayside.
Perth woman Susan, who started her career at GA’s Dundee office in 1992, said she wanted to use her two-year term of office to develop the call centre community and industry locally.
It is estimated that the sector employs some 7,000 people across the region.
“I want there to be more opportunities for Talking Tayside and its members to highlight the fantastic opportunities available in the contact centre industry,” she said.
“I want to increase the number of opportunities available for members to come together and discuss what works for them and what doesn’t.
“And, of course, I want to get more local contact centres on board so Talking Tayside can provide them with its invaluable assistance and support.”
