Scottish Bakers is to move its headquarters from Edinburgh to Dunfermline after the trade association bought new premises at Halbeath Business Park.
Eight full-time employees will move to the two-storey building.
It will serve as a base for the organisation’s 18 trainers and instructors.
Chief executive Alan Clarke said his organisation wanted to move from its cramped Haymarket headquarters to a modern building, better suited to its role as a training and membership organisation.
He said the development’s location, close to major roads and with good accessibility for the whole of Scotland, would enable Scottish Bakers to serve the country better “from Shetland to Stranraer”.
Scottish Bakers is a trading name of the Scottish Association of Master Bakers.
The group provides on-the-job training and bakery apprenticeships across much of the United Kingdom.
