Edinburgh Airport gains new easyJet services to Berlin, Hamburg, Prague, Copenhagen, Reykjavik and Dubrovnik

Budget airline easyJet has announced new routes for flights from Edinburgh as part of its Scottish expansion plans.
It is thought the services to Berlin, Hamburg, Prague, Copenhagen and Dubrovnik will bring in 140,000 more passengers and benefit the Scottish economy by up to £90m each year.
The news follows last week’s announcement of a year-round connection to Icelandic capital Reykjavik.
The expansion which was announced in August and includes the addition of two new craft to easyJet’s Edinburgh-based fleet is expected to create 160 jobs and help generate 500 associated indirect posts.
Edinburgh Airport said the new destinations had been selected after consultation with VisitScotland, Marketing Edinburgh and the Scottish business community, and would begin in the spring.
Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said the expansion represented a ”major endorsement and vote of confidence” in Edinburgh and Scotland.
