Ron Harkess Trophy awarded to Drew and Margaret Wilson

During the East of Scotland Grassland Society visit, Forfar farming couple Drew and Margaret Wilson were presented with the Ron Harkess trophy as runners-up in the British Grassland Society’s Scottish region silage competition.
The Wilsons, who run a large-scale beef finishing enterprise at Greenhead just outside Forfar, are previous national winners and make clamp silage.
The trophy was presented by BGS Scottish Council member Ian Whiteford.
The BGS national tour is this year to be held from July 4 to July 7 in Aberdeenshire.
