A WEEK after accepting there was no immediate prospect of joining with AgriScot in a combined event, the Scottish National Fat Stock Club has announced it is to run a new winter event at Lawrie & Symington’s Lanark Market.
SNFSC chairman and West Lothian farmer Sandy Galbraith said: “The Scottish National Fat Stock Club are delighted to announce that LiveScot will be held on Saturday November 29 2014 at Lanark Agricultural Centre.
“We are very excited about working with Lawrie & Symington to provide an elite livestock event. This event will provide an opportunity for farmers, sponsors and agri-businesses to network and understand new technology.
“As we are a charitable organisation run by volunteers we take education, youth development and social responsibility very seriously.”
SNFSC secretary Leslie-Anne Harrison said LiveScot would incorporate all the elements of the club’s long-standing Winter Fair including the classes for prime cattle and sheep.
