Intriguing picture from Bell Baxter ADS in 1954

Courier readers were last week puzzling over a 1950 photo showing a group of Forfar farmers.

Ken Robertson, of Heatherstacks, Forfar, identified them all.

This week’s challenge could be a bit more difficult.

The photograph has been sent in by Courier columnist Peter Small to mark Bell Baxter ADS’s recent 80th birthday celebrations.

It was taken at the club’s Christmas party at Kemback Hall in 1954.

Apparently there are “intruders” from East Fife JAC in the group.

Presumably they had come along to admire Bell Baxter’s fine display of stock-judging silverware.
