Young farmers and members of the wider Scottish farming community are invited to take part in a 200-mile cycle to raise funds for charity.
The Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) has confirmed its 2015 national charity fundraiser will be a 200-mile cycle from Inverness to Ingliston.
The Get On Your Bike challenge takes place on August 13-16. It will allow participants to raise funds for a charity of their choice.
SAYFC national vice- chairman Scott Wilson, said: “Raising money for charity and supporting our local communities is an integral part of SAYFC, as is having fun and bringing together members from across Scotland.
“This is a particularly special fundraiser for me as I was part of the event in 2010 when more than 50 of us covered over 120 miles, so we are really stepping up the challenge with more miles and hopefully more members and supporters.”
The challenge will take place over four days, with participants completing a leg of the journey each day.
On the first day cyclists will travel from Inverness to Aviemore, then on to Pitlochry on day two, Stirling on day three, and finishing up at Ingliston on day four.
Participants must register their interest by Friday, May 31, by contacting Lynsey Paterson at east@sayfc.org or by phoning 0131 333 2445.
