The top price Blackface ram at the breed sale at Lanark on Friday was a ram lamb from Willie Dunlop, Elmscleugh, Dunbar.
It sold for £68,000 in a five-way split to Nunnerie, Midlock, Loughash, Blackcraig and Dalchirla.
In the sale 184 lambs sold to average £4,111.90 (+£1,282 on the year).
There were also to be two £50,000 transactions.
The first saw D Morrison, Dalwyne, selling to Midlock, Dalchirla and Nunnerie, with the vendor retaining a share.
In the second, John Murray, of Crossflat, sold to Glenrath and Auldhouseburn.
Mr Murray grossed £158,600 for his pen of eight, all sired by the McCoy. Auctioneers were Lawrie & Symington
Meanwhile, at Dalmally on Saturday, United Auctions sold 483 Blackface shearlings to average £784 (up £159 on the year); and 146 ram lambs to average £1,103 (down £988).
The top-price shearling on Saturday was £32,000 for the pen leader from David Jackson, Pole, selling in a five-way split to Midlock,Troloss, Loughash, Blackcraig and B Devine.
This was a son of a £28,000 Aitkenhead.
Ian Hunter, Dalchirla, Muthill, took the top price among the ram lambs, selling a son of a £28,000 Aitkenhead for £28,000 in a three-way split to Blackhouse, Troloss and Hartside.
