Two Mearns students have unveiled their final-year projects at the Gray’s School of Art degree show.
The design for digital media students are set to graduate next month.Mark Coull (25), of Stonehaven, a former Mackie Academy pupil, has focused his project on 3D. Mark said, “3D visualisation takes architects and clients on a visual journey through their concepts to see if they will work in the real world. “When people think of 3D, they think of the cinema and silly glasses, but my project shows how 3D applications can be used successfully in business.”Elizabeth Best (21), who lives in Auchenblae, has created a concept for a graphic novel about elves. She said, “I really enjoy drawing so it has been great to let my imagination run wild. A graphic novel is just a fancy name for a comic book so my trailer is a series of images introducing my concept. “I have also added motion to my graphics using a PC, so there will be a film running as part of my exhibit.”
