A £50m work of art is set to be unveiled at the McManus in Dundee on Saturday as part of its tour of Scotland.
The 16th-century masterpiece Diana and Actaeon painted by Italian Old Master Titian was the subject of a fund-raising campaign to keep it in the UK last year.
It was acquired by the National Galleries of Scotland and the National Gallery in London with private and public donations from its owner, the Duke of Sutherland.
The painting has already visited Aberdeen and Glasgow and will be on show in Dundee from Saturday until September 5.
This is the last chance to see this painting in the UK before it travels to America, returning late next year.
Professor Peter Humfrey of St Andrews University, an expert on Titian and Venetian art, will give an illustrated lecture about the painting next Thursday, August 12, at 6.30pm.
Places are free but limited and must be booked in advance by contacting the McManus on 01382 307200.
Admission to the exhibition is free and the gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10am-5pm and Sundays from 12.30pm-4.30pm.
