It is opened by Grigor’s friend, Sir Sean Connery, with whom he co-wrote the book Being A Scot.
Gerry McMullan, who has organised film festivals in Dunfermline, said, “I was delighted to have the opportunity to screen the film as part of Fife’s Creative Links programme.
“Students from Adam Smith College in Kirkcaldy and Carnegie College in Dunfermline attended that screening along with local architects.”
He added, “For me it was special to hear the students question Murray about his work.
“One young student was so inspired by the film, he wanted to change his college course and extend his studies.
“Murray is truly one of the world’s finest directors of documentary films.”
The director is in Boston finalising his latest film, in conjunction with St Andrews University.
Infinite Space has also been shown at Dunfermline’s twin city Sarasota’s international film festival earlier this year.
