Club Noir, the world’s biggest burlesque club with events in Glasgow, Edinburgh and London, is coming to Dundee for the first time.
Fat Sam’s is the venue for Club Noir’s Masked Ball which, if you’ve ever experienced the amazing atmosphere, is a lavish world of glamour, comedy, variety, live music and covetable costumes.
Scottish songstress Lou Hickey is the musical star of this night, being one half of the songwriting team and vocalists of Codeine Velvet Club as well as currently holding the title of Scotland’s Most Eligible Woman.
Alongside Jon Fratelli, the band released a brilliant debut album and Lou has since had a whirlwind year, touring the USA, supporting the likes of Martha Wainwright and Suzanne Vega.
Coincidentally, one of the other performers on this show is Dagger’s Dungeon Chelsea Dagger.
She’s the ravishing rubber-clad dominatrix who performs magic and mayhem on her clients.
Chelsea performed with Club Noir for years before shooting to fame from the world-wide hit song named after her by The Fratellis.
Meanwhile DJ Loveless plays vintage and modern sounds.
Everyone is invited to dress up for the occasion and it’s brilliant fun.
The show takes place at Fat Sam’s Live on Saturday, February 26, and tickets are on sale now, priced £15.50.
These events throughout the country tend to sell out weeks in advance so best get them early.
They’re available from Fat Sam’s, from Groucho’s on 01382 228 496 or TicketWeb on 08444 77 2000.
