The Dundee Blues Bonanza 2011 signed off another successful year after laying on a weekend of free music.
Thousands flocked to the city to enjoy the international extravaganza which is played out across 31 venues and features 130 acts.
For 17 years the bonanza has provided international blues players a place in which to perform to fans as well as a stage to encourage the next generation.
That tradition continued on Sunday when the players of the Junior Blues Workshop performed live to a large audience at the Jute Cafe Bar in Dundee Contemporary Arts.
Meanwhile, Bob Telford from the organising committee said 2011 had been a memorable year for the Blues Bonanza.
“Everybody says it has been even busier than last year,” he said.
Some of the big names who performed in the city this year included the Alabama Rooster, Lil’ Jimmy Reed and the Kick Ass Band.
