The Scottish Symphony Orchestra will provide the “musical backbone” for the BBC Proms’ Scottish finale on 11 September in the Caird Hall. It will play a mix of popular classics, Scottish favourites and works connected to Dundee’s nautical past, conducted by Garry Walker. International performers will be announced at a later date.
