Four dance students from The Space at Dundee College may only be at the start of their careers but they have already performed on the global stage.
Suzanne Gray, Bethany Howitt, Emma Houston and Lucy Wilson have returned from Delhi where they were among the 350 performers at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.
Bethany (19), from Dundee, said it was hard to put into words how she felt performing in front of 65,000 people and a television audience of 1.5 billion.
“I can’t wait till the games come to Glasgow as I hope to perform again,” the first year NQ contemporary dance student said.
Birkhill HND student Lucy (21), who raised £1500 to fund the trip to India, said, “It really was a lifetime experience.”
HNC student and former St John’s High School pupil Suzanne (18) said, “There was a lot of hard work involved but it was really worth it to have the experience.”
Emma (19), from Stirling, said it was great to experience working with a mass cast.
