The founder of a Dundee-based design studio said her business is benefitting from the V&A effect in the city.
Wendy Maltman, who owns the Malting House Design Studio, said there was far more interest in design in the city since the museum opened.
She said she had worked with a record number of tourism and hospitality businesses in the past year.
She said: “Amongst our clients there is definitely a greater interest in design, in positioning businesses as stylish and contemporary.
“That in turn is fuelling a demand for services like ours – that’s why we’ve expanded our business this year, bringing in a communications expert to help tell the stories of the blossoming Dundee business community.
“I feel we’ve turned a corner in Dundee – the V&A and the wider waterfront development has generated a change in pace, a new and exciting chapter in our long commercial heritage.
“From where I sit I can’t see that stopping any time soon. Our image has changed, our culture is transforming – and business is booming.
Last month a report found V&A Dundee had created a £75 million economic impact.
