Fife-headquartered marine services group Briggs Marine has entered a strategic partnership as it eyes a Royal Navy contract.
Briggs will team up with Serco to bid for the Royal Navy’s next generation of marine services, known as Marine Services 2022.
The two firms have a long-standing relationship, having worked together since 2007 to support the Royal Navy on significant areas of the current Provision of Marine Services contract.
This has delivered outstanding performance with 99.9% of all tasks delivered to the Royal Navy’s exacting requirement.
The two companies also offer a strong geographic presence and unique insight into the demanding role of supporting the Royal Navy at home and overseas.

Briggs Marine, which has its head office in Burntisland, are experts in coastal, nearshore and offshore operations and its clients including the Royal Navy and Ministry of Defence.
Its services include port and oil terminal operations, moorings and aids to navigation maintenance, vessel management, submarine cable installation and maintenance, vessel hire, environmental response and consultation, marine survey and air diving.
