Fife’s Balbirnie House Hotel has been named as best in the world by international awards judges.
The Haute Grandeur Awards said the Markinch hotel was the Best Function Venue and Best Country House Hotel.
The hotel was also named Europe’s Best Country Hotel and Best Wedding Hotel.
Owners and company directors Nicholas and Gaynor Russell dedicated the 2020 awards to all who had made up the venue’s “brigade”over the past three decades.
“We are once again so very proud to have been invited to represent Scotland in the global awards, and we are so very humbled by the results,” Mr Russell added.
Earlier in 2020, at The Scottish Hotel Awards Balbirnie House became Scotland’s Wedding Hotel of the Year, for the 14th time in 16 years.
