Ensuring your company stands out from the crowd is not an easy business.
That’s where the 2016 Courier Business Awards come in.
No other event in east central Scotland gives your firm the chance to have its name up in lights in front of more than 700 other business professionals.
This year’s awards, supported once again by chartered accountants Henderson Loggie, will take place in a purpose-built marquee at the Apex City Quay Hotel in Dundee on October 29.
Entries are free and can be completed at www.thecourierbusinessawards.com.
The deadline for submissions is July 1 and companies are welcome to enter as many categories as they see fit.
Brewin Dolphin is sponsoring the 2016 Services award.
Dundee office head Ian MacDonald said the firm was delighted to be involved.
“Investing in the relationship may sound an old-fashioned approach to business, but for us it has never gone out of fashion,” Mr MacDonald said.
“There are no shortcuts, and even with today’s technological advantages, we believe that the best way to understand our clients is to invest time with them.
“We look forward presenting this award to the company that puts service excellence at the core of their business proposition.”
Blue2 – the 2015 Digital Business of the Year award winner – has come on board as a sponsor for 2016.
“Blue2 is sponsoring the category we won last year. As previous winners we want to use our profile to help build the profile of the fantastic digital community that is developing in Dundee,” digital director Nial Chapman said.
“We want to stand side by side with emerging creative companies, and see them gain well-deserved recognition for their successes.”
Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce is also supporting the 2016 awards through its sponsorship of the growth business category.
Chief executive Alison Henderson urged growing local firms to get their entries in for this year’s awards scheme as soon as possible.
She said: “ It is highly important to celebrate the successes in our business community – just being involved in applying brings a business closer to it’s vision, values and purpose and is such an inspirational process.
“The awards allow the local community to discover those great stories and learn more about what we all do across Courier Country.
“It’s well worth taking part.”
