The clock is ticking.
Companies have just two days to get their entries in for The Courier Business Awards 2016, the largest annual celebration of the commercial life of east central Scotland.
Around 700 guests are expected to attend the awards dinner in a bespoke marquee in the grounds of Dundee’s Apex City Quay Hotel on October 29.
Courier Editor Richard Neville said the time to act was now.
“This is an opportunity that no business should miss out on,” he said.
Bank of Scotland is returning as sponsor of the Manufacturing category.
Andrew Stark, area director, manufacturing, SME Banking Scotland, said it was brilliant event to be involved in.
He said: “The Courier Business Awards inspire and motivate business growth by providing a platform to celebrate and showcase local successes.
“Bank of Scotland similarly champions the achievements of outstanding businesses in the community and continues to be impressed by the standard of entries submitted year on year.”
Law firm Thorntons is sponsoring the Family Business of the Year category.
Partner Lesley Larg said all local firms should grasp the chance to shine in front of their business peers.
“Celebrating the success of local businesses is immensely important,” Lesley said.
“So often the successes, innovations and entrepreneurial spirit of companies can go completely unnoticed.
“It is vital that we recognise their successes and the benefits these businesses bring to the local economy.”
