Only a handful of Dundee hotel rooms are available when Radio 1’s Big Weekend visits the city later this year.
Thousands of people will flock to Dundee’s Camperdown Park as Lewis Capaldi, The 1975 and Niall Horan perform at the Radio 1 event.
A previous investigation into hotel prices for the event, between May 26 and 28, showed some hotel prices had doubled from the weekend before.
A total of 35,000 tickets for each of the Saturday and Sunday went on sale on Friday morning.
Half of those were reserved for people living in the DD1 to DD11 postcodes. They have now sold out.
A further 15,000 tickets for the Friday night – which will feature dance acts – will go on sale next Friday (March 31) at 6.30pm.
With thousands of people set to descend on Dundee, most hotel rooms are sold out.
Prices for the remaining rooms have increased further.

The firm previously defended its hike in room rates, saying it firm operated “dynamic pricing”.
Travelodge, which said it offers “competitive” prices – has further increased the price of its Dundee city centre hotel.
A twin room there was previously available for £459 for the weekend, but is now £499.
Rates have similarly increased at Sleeperz Hotel – where a room is now £451.
When it was announced Dundee would host Radio 1’s Big Weekend, a twin room at Apex City Quay Hotel was available for £199 for two nights.
However, early on Friday morning an equivalent stay was £558. Its website now shows the hotel is full.

However a private single room is more than twice that price, at £230 for the weekend.
