Dundee estate agent Rosie Fraser has opened an office in Broughty Ferry to help take her business to the next level.
It is just a year since Rosie started her own business and she has quickly captured a significant chunk of the local market.
Her new offices are in the former Rough and Fraser bakery in Brook Street.
Rosie Fraser on Broughty Ferry move
Rosie, 28, said the investment in refitting the offices has been around £50,000.
She explains the move to opening physical premises.
“The move is due to the growth of business and means we can work with partners to offer in-house conveyancing and legal services,” she said.
“I am also hoping we will pick up some more passing trade with a great site on a busy street.
“We love what we do and are so appreciative that people pick and trust us with selling their homes.”
Previously most of Rosie’s business has come through word of mouth.
She prides herself on taking stress away from sellers and providing high levels of service. This includes daily updates in WhatsApp chats.
The modern approach to sales focuses heavily on promotion through social media.
The selling process includes property staging for the photographs as well as incorporating drone shots and video walk-throughs.
Rosie’s top tip for good sale
Rosie, who grew up in St Mary’s, has shared her top tip towards achieving a good sale price.
She said: “Make sure your property is staged to be showcased in its best possible light (we offer property staging as standard) and is being marketed proactively to ensure as many people see it as possible.”
When Rosie started her company she set a target of five property listings a month. She has since achieved millions of pounds worth of sales.
Despite signs that the property market is slowing, with the cost of mortgages going up, Rosie says her business has continued to perform well with dozens of listings each month.
She adds: “I am very excited to see the growth over the next year.”
