A Perth garage is aiming to double its workforce and move to bespoke new premises in the next three years on the back of an expanding portfolio of work.
Auto Services Perth Ltd is celebrating after being appointed as an authorised Renault truck and van service, repair and recovery centre.
The firm, which has 44 staff, is also expanding its vehicle sales operation with the addition of an LDV vans franchise at their Crieff Road premises.
Director Steve Crozier said: “Our Renault appointment will see us cover a considerable area including the Forth Bridge, Fort William and Dalwhinnie.
“For Renault, having cover provided up here could help boost vehicle sales for them. We’ve been doing this with Iveco for a decade now, and we will replicate that service with Renault.”
Mr Crozier also outlined the reason for taking on the LDV vans franchise.
He said: “LDV have some exciting new vehicles in the pipeline, including SUVs, pick-ups and electric vehicles.
“It was this up and coming range that influenced our decision to take the franchise.”
The firm, established more than 30 years ago as a father and son partnership, has seen dramatic expansion over recent years.
The new services are in addition to the repair, service and recovery facility that they offer for Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Isuzu, as well as Fiat vans and motor homes.
The recovery division currently operates a fleet of 14 vehicles, handling vehicles ranging from small vans to 44T tractor units.
The firm is also eyeing a move to bespoke purpose-built premises.
Mr Crozier added: “We are committed to the continued expansion and development of our business, and the creation of new jobs, and this will include a move to bespoke, purpose-built premises within the next 18 months.
“We will have a multi-franchise truck and van centre, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, which will see our workforce double from the current 44 within 36 months.”
