Perth-based law firm Gillespie Macandrew increased its revenue by £1 million last year as it recorded its seventh consecutive year of growth.
The firm advises clients in land and rural affairs, energy and private client including tax and has a growing presence in commercial property and corporate business markets.
The limited liability partnership, which also has offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, said the strong performance was the result of “planned productivity gains and a strategy of organic growth”.
Newly filed accounts for the year ending February 28 show revenue increased by 8.3% to £13m.
Profit for the year before members’ remuneration and profit shares was £3.7m, an increase from £3m in 2018.
Chief executive Robert Graham-Campbell said: “We have delivered a solid set of financial results notwithstanding a challenging political environment and I am pleased to see such positive results from our investment in productivity initiatives during the year.
“Our clients look to us for market-leading expertise and excellent client service and we continue to invest in our business, our people and our IT to deliver this.
“We remain focused on our four core areas of expertise: land and rural business, energy, private client and tax and commercial real estate.”
During the financial year, Gillespie Macandrew, which has 22 partners, opened new and expanded Glasgow premises.
The firm’s year end cash position was strengthened at £1.3m, against £1m in 2018.
