The staff at NFU Scotland’s (NFUS) Perth office have won an award for outstanding efforts in recruitment and retention of members for the second year in a row.
The NFUS Membership Flame was presented to the union’s Perth team – Margaret Hebbourn, Katy Neill and Marc Robb – at the organisation’s annual general meeting in Glasgow.
NFUS chief executive Scott Walker praised the team for recruiting 61 new members to the union in the past two years.
“Their achievement is even more astonishing given that Margaret and Katy only started with NFU Scotland and NFU Mutual in 2017 and Marc joined the agency late last year,” he added.
Former east central regional chairman Roddy Kennedy said: “Providing an exciting, different, first-class service to the farming community is the key to both recruiting new members and keeping our existing ones and Margaret, Katy and now Marc have continued to go above and beyond with their performance.”
