Scottish law firm Thorntons has bolstered its land and rural business team with the appointment of Ross Law, a registered valuer, lawyer and chartered rural surveyor.
Ross will advise clients on rural property issues, including the purchase and sale of land, property finance and securities.
He previously worked at Savills and Strutt & Parker, where he was primarily involved with valuations of agricultural and rural property for secured lending throughout Angus and Aberdeenshire.
Ross lives in Forfar and in his spare time is involved with his local rugby club, Strathmore RFC.
He said: “The firm’s reputation for providing a first class, all round service in the land and rural sector is well known, so it is exciting to be joining such a dedicated and professional team.”
