Drivers have been warned to take care on one of Tayside’s busiest crossings as stormy weather batters the country.
Traffic Scotland says high winds are affecting the Friarton Bridge on the M90 Perth to Edinburgh road.
The organisation posted: “Road users are advised to use caution crossing the M90 Friarton Bridge due to high winds currently affecting driving conditions.”

It comes after the Tay Road and Forth Road bridges were both closed to double-decker buses due to the weather on Tuesday.
Forecasters say gusts of up to 75mph are possible in coastal and upland parts of Scotland.

A Met Office wind warning is in place for much of Scotland covering Strathclyde, the south-west, Lothian, the Borders, the Highlands, Western Isles, Moray, Falkirk and part of Fife.
A statement from the forecaster reads: “Strong southwesterly winds are expected for parts of Scotland and northern England on Tuesday.
“Gusts of 50-60 mph are likely, with 70-75 mph gu
