Rail services to Fife, Dundee and Angus are being affected after a train broke down in the kingdom.
Journeys are being delayed or revised following the incident near Cupar.
ScotRail says a train suffered a “fault” at about 3.20pm.
Services between Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen are being affected.
However the train was on the move again by 3.30pm.
The firm posted: “Due to a train fault at Cupar disruption is expected until 4.15pm. Train services between Dundee and Edinburgh/Aberdeen and Edinburgh will be delayed or revised.
“Our staff are currently fault finding and we will update you once we get more information from the ground.”
ScotRail later updated: “The broken down train is now on the move and we’re working to get services running back to normal.”
