A three-night closure of part of Dundee’s Kingsway is to take place next week as part of a £200,000 resurfacing programme.
The project will also see the A90 slip lane access to Kingsway retail park blocked off for two nights, between 7.30pm and 6.30am.
Work gets under way on Sunday to repair two sections of the dual carriageway between Strathmartine roundabout and the retail park.
A 10 miles per hour convoy system will be in place, as well as a daytime lane closure on Monday.
Access will be maintained for local residents during working hours.
BEAR Scotland spokesman Andy Thompson said: “For safety, the road has to be closed while we complete the work at Strathmartine roundabout, however we’ve arranged the work to take place overnight to help minimise disruption.
“We’ll also ensure any noise is kept to a minimum where possible.
“We thank motorists for their patience in advance while our teams carry out these essential works on the Kingsway. As always we’ll do all we can to ensure that this project is completed as quickly and as safely as possible.”
