Repairs to a section of the A92 between Chapel and Redhouse Junction on the outskirts of Kirkcaldy will go ahead next week
The £600,000 resurfacing programme will be carried out between 7.30pm and 6.30am over 10 nights from Monday until August 17, with no work planned on Friday or Saturday nights.
A 10mph convoy system will be in place during working hours and the A92 Chapel northbound on-slip will be closed over the first four nights.
A signed diversion will be in place guiding traffic via the A92 southbound to Lochgelly Junction then back on the A92 northbound.
All traffic management measures will be removed during the daytime.
Motorists have been urged to leave extra time for their journeys.
